Primer & Proof is a business of Blake Long in Alexandria, Virginia. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@primerandproof.com.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. The site has no forms, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and its fonts and files are served from our own host rather than a third party.
Cloudflare hosts the site. To deliver and protect it, Cloudflare processes standard technical data for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We don't use that data to identify you. Cloudflare's handling is described in its privacy policy.
When you email us
If you write to us, we keep your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us, such as your channel and audience, so we can reply and, if we work together, run the partnership. Our email runs on Google Workspace.
When you buy a product
Our products are sold through a third-party store that acts as the merchant of record. The store collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy, which you'll see at checkout; we never receive your card number. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can deliver the product, send corrected copies and answer questions. For training plans, we also receive your answers to the intake questions, which we use only to build and update your plan.
Creator partners
Creators are paid through the store's own payout system. We don't receive or keep their bank details. We keep partnership agreements and sales records as long as tax law requires.
What we don't do
- We don't sell personal information.
- We don't share it for advertising, and we don't run ads that track you.
- We don't use buyers' intake answers for anything except their own plan.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation or partnership is active, and up to three years after it ends. Order and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@primerandproof.com. We'll respond within 45 days. Some records, such as completed sales, may have to be kept for tax purposes, and we'll tell you if that applies.
Children
This site and our products are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
